Job description

Systems Delivery Engineer (Simulator Installations) – UK & Overseas Travel

Our client needs a hands-on Systems Delivery Engineer to design, install, and hand over cutting-edge simulator systems. If you’re the kind of person who thrives on solving technical puzzles, loves being on-site with customers, and takes pride in flawless delivery—this role’s for you.

What you’ll do:

  • Be the go-to expert for simulator hardware/software setup, troubleshooting, and customer training.
  • Design systems from scratch: BOMs, schematics, subcontractor specs, and installation docs.
  • Deploy, configure, and fix hardware/software on-site (UK & international).
  • Work with project managers to keep installations on time, on budget, and frustration-free for customers.
  • Support bids, repairs, and smooth handovers to customer support.

You’ll be a great fit if you:

  • Have strong IT/ICT chops—Windows OS, VMware/Hyper-V, networking, hardware setup.
  • Know your way around server racks, cable management, and LAN/power specs.
  • Can translate tech jargon into clear advice for non-tech users (customer-facing experience is key).
  • Are practical, proactive, and calm under pressure—tight deadlines don’t scare you.
  • Willing to travel frequently (UK/overseas) and work solo or in a team.

No clipboard managers—just problem-solvers.

If you’d rather be elbows-deep in a server cabinet than stuck in meetings, let’s talk.

Please note that if you are NOT a passport holder of the country for the vacancy you might need a work permit.
