Shifts: 7am-7pm – Can be flexible on days

The Opportunity:

For the UK Government, maintaining National Security is a 24-hour-a-day, 365-day-a-year mission. To support these complex operations, the MoD partners with this Firm to empower critical thinking and drive value across its strategic initiatives and technology investments.

The Role:

An infrastructure support unit seeks a talented 2nd Line System Administrator to join its team of nine 2nd/3rd Line Engineers. You’ll support the MoD in managing IT Service Management, monitoring Event Management, and ensuring swift and effective triage and escalation when it counts the most.

The Company:

With over 50 years as a trusted supplier to the UK Ministry of Defence, the team delivers essential national security capabilities to the UK and its strategic allies, serving as the ICT backbone for intelligence communities and military forces.

• Clearance: Must hold Developed Vetting (DV) Security Clearance.
• 2+ years at 1st line or experience at 2nd line
• Expertise in ITSM and Event Management Tooling (SolarWinds, SCOM)
• Proficiency in MECM and SCCM
• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with customers and stakeholders.

• Base Salary: Up to £35,000 (DoE)
