Job description
Our client, a global asset management firm, is looking to recruit a Sustainability Specialist to focus on climate change and environmental initiatives.
- Work closely with investment teams to effectively integrate climate, nature, and other environmental themes into investment decision-making.
- Engage with portfolio companies on climate and environmental issues.
- Provide research and insights to help support investment decisions.
- Contribute to firmwide content and strategy on environmental and climate change issues.
- Represent the firm across a range of environmental/sustainability-related industry bodies and initiatives.
- Actively participate in client engagement.
- Assist in developing investment products and strategies aligned with climate and nature objectives.
- 7-10 years of work experience in ESG/sustainability investment analysis with expertise in climate change and environmental issues.
- Passion for sustainable and ESG investing.
- Proven experience building data models for climate integration and scenario analysis.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Collaborative approach to work.
