Job description

Estates and Facilities Management

Full Time, Open ended.

Hybrid Role: minimum 3 days in the office and 2 days remote (with management agreement).

Here's more about the role and what we're looking for:

We're on the lookout for an individual to support the Sustainability Manager, with a keen eye for detail and the confidence to deliver projects to meet our university-wide sustainable goals.

The right candidate will be a great multitasker, committed to acting in accordance with the university sustainability values, with the ability to build partnerships with students, staff, and tenants to support our goals.

This individual will be a Champion for the community of sustainable practice, engaging and participating in net zero efforts across campus and wider sustainability activities, and an excellent communicator with the ability to adapt style and information to present complex information to a variety of audiences.

Key Requirements:
  1. Excellent data handling skills, with the ability to analyse and interrogate complex data sets.
  2. An excellent knowledge and understanding of the holistic nature of sustainability and how this relates to large, complex institutions.
  3. Proven success in project management and delivery, tracking and monitoring performance, and coordinating and managing budgets and resources.
  4. An ability to relate sustainability to community and civic collaboration.
