Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and driven Sustainability Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our sustainability initiatives, focusing on environmental data management, reporting, and administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sustainability practices, excellent project management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage environmental data and prepare sustainability reports using frameworks such as Ecovadis.
2. Support the implementation of sustainability strategies and initiatives across the organisation.
3. Maintain confidentiality of company information and projects.
4. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
5. Collaborate effectively with internal teams to promote sustainability practices.
6. Flexibility to undertake other duties as necessary to support the broader goals of the role.

Required Competencies:

1. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft applications and modern IT systems; familiarity with social media marketing tools is a plus.
3. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
4. Decision-making and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on practical and effective solutions.

Person Specification:

1. Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a sustainability-related role.
3. Passion for sustainability and a hands-on approach to achieving environmental goals.
4. Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
