The Role is responsible for assessing new and emerging Corporate Responsibility/Sustainability external stakeholder needs, including but not limited to emerging and new EMEA region sustainability legislation and customer or commercial requirements. They will focus on the company's compliance with existing and proposed global sustainability regulations and support the business with sustainability information about products and services. This role will be responsible for coordinating the company's response to CDP, EcoVadis, and other external sustainability ratings.

What you will be doing
  • Oversee the collection of all data points and systems needed to meet product stewardship reporting requirements on REACH, packaging, WEEE, batteries and other initiatives as required.
  • Oversee the reporting activities associated with the above across all EMEA countries where the requirement exists.
  • Ensure all necessary reporting is taking place on time and in full by designated reporters.
  • Assist with the company's responses to CDP, EcoVadis, and other external sustainability reports.
  • Assist with collection of environmental data in the company's corporate responsibility report.
  • Lead on providing timely responses to customer tenders, RFPs, customer questions or other specific requests for environmental sustainability information.
  • Work in partnership with multiple stakeholders across the company (Corporate Responsibility, Communications, Investor Relations, Legal, and others).
  • Follow, evaluate and implement approaches to address existing or emerging sustainability regulations (such as CSRD/CSDD).
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and actively support the development and execution of EHS&S standards, programs and processes.
  • Facilitate the development and deployment of enhanced sustainability strategies.
  • Effectively collaborate across all stakeholder groups actively seeking feedback and input to enhance sustainability programs and policies across Vantive.
  • Communicate the business impacts of sustainability to all stakeholders.

Education and/or Experience:
  • Significant professional level experience in the sustainability space, preferably with experience in a global company.
  • B.S. Degree in Environmental, Safety, Engineering or related field required; M.S. Degree in Environmental/Safety Engineering or Technology/related field preferred.
  • Detailed understanding of global sustainability requirements, best practices and emerging regulations.
  • Experience and familiarity with REACH, ROHS, WEEE, CSRD, CSDD and other sustainability regulations.
  • Continuous improvement/lean methodologies implementation experience.
