What this job involves

Reporting to the Sustainable Operations Lead on account, the primary duties are:

Data
  1. Support on energy and water metering data analytics, provide insights to both site teams and Sustainable Operations team members on account for their strategy, roadmap and action planning;
  2. Collate ETS data and report to related stakeholders monthly;
  3. Liaise with site teams on any request of fiscal meter data readings for compliance and maintenance purposes;
  4. Own the meter uptime KPI by managing contractors, vendors and quotes for repairing, replacing any necessary meter components;
  5. Own accuracy of waste data, challenge waste contractors and sub-contractors if required to ensure best accuracy. Identify poor data quality issues within databases and work with client to include corrective actions, including measures which improve the efficiency of data capture;
  6. Produce monthly reports of landfill waste data to clients and related stakeholders;
  7. Provide monthly comms on site leaderboard using data of energy, waste and water.
Programme Coordination
  1. Work under the guidance of Sustainable Operations managers to manage the relationship with waste management contractors for waste reporting, waste reduction programs and other mutually agreed waste targets from the client;
  2. Coordinate with site teams, suppliers, vendors on different activities in the sustainability action plan, including sustainability awareness and engagements on international sustainability events at portfolio and facility level;
  3. Coordinate with related workstreams such as finance, procurement, work order Corrigo team to raise PO, WO or onboard vendors related to sustainability projects;
  4. Schedule visits for respective vendors/partners to sites for sustainability related projects;
  5. Conduct market and build circular economy database where appropriate;
  6. Create presentations for engagement activities such as Recycling Week, trainings etc;
  1. Support the application of JLL standard energy & sustainability operating procedures and Playbook, including energy management, water and waste management;
  2. Collaborate with other regional team and Global Lead on building decarbonisation strategy to help client reach Net Zero carbon targets;
  3. Work as a valued and integral member of JLL's Sustainable Operations team;
  4. Support the operation of JLL Sustainable Operations platform in EMEA.
Key responsibilities include:
  1. Preparation of monthly reports in a timely manner
  2. Liaising with team both internally and externally to support client Energy and Sustainability objectives
  3. Technical competence in the identification and implementation of energy and waste management improvement processes
  4. Increasing the application of Energy & sustainability metrics and toolkits across the sites under JLL's scopes

Requirements
  1. A background in Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, Energy and Engineering or sustainable buildings;
  2. Sound knowledge of energy management and waste management;
  3. Knowledge of building services systems & the use of data analytics;
  4. Ability to analyse and present complex data sets with good knowledge of spreadsheets and other analytical software platforms;
  5. Knowledge about legislation on energy and environmental aspects;
  6. Appreciation of sustainability and green building principles in the built environment;
  7. Have a passion for sustainability in the built environment;
  8. Be a self-starter with an ability to work autonomously as well as within a team;
  9. Show strong analytical skills and a high attention to detail;
  10. Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills and a desire to provide quality reports and advice;
  11. Flexible, self-motivated with a service-oriented personality and a strong desire to achieve goals;
  12. Promote open, constructive and collaborative relations with colleagues and clients; and
  13. Fluent in written and spoken English, German is a plus.
