Sustainability Consultant - WELL AP & BREEAM

We are working in partnership with an industry-leading global real estate consultancy and practice to help secure a WELL Accredited Professional (WELL AP) at a senior level. The successful candidate is expected to have deep expertise in the WELL Building Standard (WELL v2) and play a key role in integrating health and well-being strategies into building projects.

Core Responsibilities:

1. WELL Certification Leadership: Lead projects through the WELL certification process, ensuring compliance with WELL v2 requirements.
2. Strategic Implementation: Develop and implement health and wellness strategies for buildings, communities, and organizations.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with clients, architects, engineers, designers, and contractors to integrate WELL principles.
4. Performance Verification: Ensure project documentation and on-site testing meet WELL certification requirements.
5. Regulatory & Industry Alignment: Stay updated on WELL updates, align projects with sustainability standards (LEED, Fitwel, etc.), and advise clients accordingly.

Skills & Experience Required:

1. Deep Knowledge of WELL Standards: Strong expertise in WELL concepts (Air, Water, Nourishment, Light, Movement, Thermal Comfort, Sound, Materials, Mind, Community, Innovation).
2. Project Management: Experience managing multiple WELL-certified projects at various stages.
3. Technical & Analytical Skills: Ability to assess indoor environmental quality, biophilic design, and wellness-focused building strategies.
4. Leadership & Mentorship: Guide junior WELL APs and educate teams on WELL best practices.
5. Communication & Advocacy: Ability to present WELL benefits to clients and stakeholders, driving the business case for health-focused buildings.

Qualifications & Additional Expectations:

1. WELL AP Credential (mandatory).
2. Experience with Green Building Certifications (LEED, BREEAM, Fitwel, etc.).
3. Background in Architecture, Engineering, Sustainability, or Public Health (preferred).
4. Strong Industry Network and active participation in sustainability and wellness initiatives.
