We are an established sustainability consultancy based in London Bridge. Since our inception in 2012, the company has grown from 2 people to 60. Our clients include developers and investment firms to deliver low-carbon buildings, upgrade MEP services, retrofit buildings and to decarbonise existing portfolios. Our Energy, Carbon & Sustainability team is made up of 15 people and with a great balance of Associates, Principals and Seniors, there is a plenty of opportunities to progress.

We are seeking a Building Physics Consultant to join our team. This is a technical role that requires a deep understanding of energy modelling and building physics. The role also involves working closely with clients and colleagues to deliver high-quality projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Undertake detailed energy modelling and building physics analysis using IES VE.
2. Interpret and analyse data to identify energy-saving opportunities for buildings.
3. Develop and manage project deliverables, budgets, and schedules.
4. Liaise with clients and project teams to ensure that project objectives are met.
5. Stay up to date with industry trends and regulations related to energy modelling and building physics.
6. Provide technical support and mentoring to junior staff.

Requirements:

1. Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering, physics, or a related field.
2. Extensive experience in energy modelling and building physics using IES VE.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Experience working with developers and investment firms is preferred.
7. Relevant professional qualifications are an advantage.
