Sustainability and Responsible Business Reporting Analyst

We are seeking a Sustainability & Responsible Business (SRB) Reporting Analyst to support the Firm in meeting its regulatory and voluntary SRB reporting requirements, including but not limited to CSRD, United Nations Global Compact, CDP and Ecovadis. In this role you will collaborate with global teams to gather, analyse, and report on necessary data, contributing significantly to our SRB initiatives, while delivering increased reporting efficiency and improved data quality and controls.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting and Analysis:
- Collecting, organising, and analysing data for external SRB disclosures and internal SRB reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness with auditable outputs and controls
- Reporting SRB data accurately and timely in line with the developing SRB strategy and compliance with relevant frameworks and regulations
- Mapping data requirements and sources from the Firm’s Double Materiality Assessments to meet CSRD reporting obligations
- Creating and providing data analysis and reporting to monitor performance against SRB key performance indicators
- Identifying missing or incomplete data required for CSRD compliance and supporting mitigation of such gaps
- Ensuring processes are in place so required data is available for current and forthcoming reporting requirements
- Engaging with Procurement and the Firm’s suppliers to report on supply chain performance against key SRB metrics
- Completing SRB-related ad hoc tasks as required
Facilitating Communication:
- Engaging relevant departments, building relationships to support data collation, governance, and controls
- Supporting development of reports, presentations, and communications to inform and update various audiences including the Firm’s Responsible Business Committee and Risk Committee
Continuous Improvement:
- Assisting in creating a global SRB reporting platform for the Firm, through internal development or by procuring and implementing a third-party system
- Staying informed about global best practices in SRB reporting methodologies and solutions frameworks to support improving and evolving the Firm’s SRB reporting and disclosure practices
- Being proactive in bringing and implementing a best-in-class approach to SRB reporting
- Identifying opportunities to streamline and improve the efficiency of data collection and integration into SRB reporting, enhancing existing processes, and recommending tools, software, and methodologies to bridge data and reporting gaps
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s degree with experience in data collation and reporting, including the use of reporting tools, ideally in a law firm or professional services organisation
- Experience using or implementing ESG reporting software and/or systems (preferred)
- Experience with CSRD preparation within a law firm or professional services setting (preferred)
- Knowledge and experience of existing and upcoming global ESG frameworks, reporting standards, and regulatory requirements
- Experience in developing and/or maintaining efficient, effective reporting processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of numeracy and attention to detail
- Knowledge of data management, governance, audit, and analytics best practices, including identifying, collecting, migrating, cleansing, and analysing data from various sources
- Skilled in interpreting requirements and presenting data clearly, including using graphical representations and visualisations
- Proficient in designing and conducting data validation, error checking, and quality assurance
- Excellent skills to handle multiple reporting initiatives, meet deadlines, and ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively
- Desire to develop a career in SRB reporting and shape the Firm's evolving capability

Location and Reporting
This role is based in our London office, and reports into the Project Manager, Sustainability and Responsible Business.
Our standard office hours are 09:30-18:00, with a current requirement for 3 days in the office per week.
