Sustainability Analyst

ESG Officer // Rochester // £40,000 per annum // Permanent // Office Based

A rapidly growing and innovative e-commerce company is looking for an ESG Officer to lead and develop their sustainability and corporate governance strategy. This newly created role offers a fantastic opportunity to shape the company’s ESG policies and make a tangible impact.

Role and responsibilities

• Developing and implementing the company’s sustainability and ESG strategy.
• Conducting internal factory audits for supplier compliance with ISO standards.
• Monitoring and reporting on environmental sustainability performance to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Managing WEEE, waste/packaging, and plastic compliance, identifying and addressing any gaps.
• Analyzing ESG data to track trends and potential risks.

Experience and expertise

• Experience in ESG, sustainability, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for data processing.
• Ability to keep up with changing ESG legislation and industry standards.
• Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
