An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic healthcare assistant to join our busy and fast-paced elective general surgical ward.
Working alongside the multi-disciplinary team, to support and provide a high standard of care to our patients, in various sub-specialities within general surgery and orthopaedics.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and committed healthcare assistant and will welcome any forward-thinking, caring individual, who is committed to providing high standards of care to our patients.
You must display excellent communication skills and be confident to deal with patients, families, carers, and members of the multi-disciplinary team.
To support patients on their journey, through their time as an inpatient on the ward.
At all times treat patients, carers, and colleagues with dignity and respect, exercising discretion and behaving in a manner consistent with the CHFT four pillars.
To be able to work independently and be part of a team, under the supervision of qualified nursing staff.
To maintain confidentiality.
Work in a collaborative and cooperative manner with other members of the team.
To undertake training including EST and adhere to principles taught.
Undertake duties that you have received appropriate training for and have been deemed competent.
To adhere to trust policies and procedures.
To establish and maintain effective communication and relationships with the multi-disciplinary team.
Contribute to the development of the clinical area, through contribution of new ideas to improve patient care experience.
Carry out all duties in a professional, compassionate, and courteous manner.
