Support Workers - Bournemouth - ASAP

Academics are recruiting 2 to 3 Support Workers to join a residential home adjoined to a special needs school in Bournemouth. They have full positions available between Monday-Sunday, so whatever your availability, please get in touch.

This role would suit Support Workers with experience in either a care or special needs environment, or someone with a genuine interest and passion for supporting others, as training is provided.

Responsibilities:

1. Enabling young people to develop and make progress
2. Providing physical, emotional and nurturing support
3. Working as part of a team to maintain a stable, happy and caring environment
4. Ensuring health, safety, care and welfare of young people is a priority

Requirements:

To be a successful Support Worker, you will be a strong team player, confident, motivated, and well-organised. Patience and commitment are essential, but above all, you’ll be someone with a genuine desire to help others. You must be based in Bournemouth or be willing to commute to the area for work.
