Support Worker

YMCA Reading is a long established charity in Berkshire, RG30 2DD. Our goal is to provide the critical foundations for a fresh, strong start for young people and a better quality of life in the community. We are here for young people, here for communities and here for you!

We are seeking to employ Support staff to join our friendly busy team. The Support Worker roles will entail working with our young service users aged 16-25 years. The role is sometimes challenging, however mainly rewarding. If you have a passion for supporting young people to improve their lives and move on into independence, this may be the role for you.

A knowledge of Support Plans and Risk Assessments is desirable for these Support Worker roles plus you must be competent on a computer as there is an element of admin work.

Support Worker Staff will work on a rota basis working one weekend per month and taking part in an on call rota. Normal Shifts are:

  1. 8am - 4pm
  2. 1.30pm - 9.30pm

Full time (37.5 hrs p/w)
