Job Description:

Would you like a career that makes a difference? Could you support adults with a learning disability to live a life that makes sense to them?

We are seeking dedicated, resilient, and enthusiastic people to join our fantastic team in Manchester to support Diane at her own home, covering shift patterns 24 hours, 7 days a week with full-time or part-time jobs. Could you be one of her Support Workers?

Intrigued to know more?

Let us introduce you to Diane*: she is fun-loving and has a zest for life. She loves animals, going for drives, walking along the beach, and meeting new people. Diane uses her behaviour to communicate her needs and wishes, and is autistic.

At times, Diane's way of communicating can be a challenge for those supporting her, but we work together to build on her positive and alternative communication skills and find ways, using MacIntyre’s Positive Behaviour Support framework, to improve the quality of her life. You will work alongside an experienced Frontline Manager and Senior Support Worker.

When you join us, we'll provide full free training, and you'll have access to a range of great benefits including the Blue Light discount card.

* Name changed for privacy

Please note, we are currently unable to offer sponsorships as we await further guidance from the Home Office. Applications requiring sponsorship cannot be considered at this time. We appreciate your understanding.
