Are you looking for a part time Support Worker role, in the charity sector?
At Capability Scotland, our mission is to deliver the highest quality services, tailored to the individual needs of disabled people. We work in partnership to create innovative solutions which enable our people to achieve their goals. We put our customers and learners at the heart of everything we do and will make sure their voices are heard loud and clear.
We love what we do here and are looking to recruit Support Workers for our Fife Housing Support & Care at Home services based in Dunfermline.
We support people with a variety of complex disabilities to live independently in our bright, fully adapted, residential settings based in Dunfermline centre. In these beautiful settings, each individual has their own bedroom, private or jack & jill bathrooms and shared communal spaces.
You will be supporting our customers on either one-to-one or group care; your day will include helping them with their personal care, dressing, medication, mobility, mealtimes and participating in their chosen activities for that day, such as fun community-based activities including going shopping, to the football, the cinema or having a giggle at our games or themed days.
Hours: 16, 19, 24 & 26 hour contracts available (contact us for more info). Working a mix of dayshift and backshifts on a rotational basis – Relief posts are also available.
Drivers preferred but not essential; while we welcome applications from drivers, we can consider non-drivers. If you do need to go out and about with our customer for that dinner and cinema trip, your costs are covered.
***This role DOES NOT qualify for skilled worker shortage visa sponsorship***
We are One Voice, One Charity, One Spirit, #OneCapability.
