Overview

We have an opportunity available for a Part Time Support Worker to join the team at our Warrington Day Service. Please see further details about the service.

Salary: £12.00 per hour

Hours: 10 hours per week - Saturday and Sunday only - 10am to 3pm

This role is to support the Chatty Café lunch clubs. There will be an expectation that the post holder will support the cook to serve meals and offer advice and guidance to people accessing the café about getting involved in the Hub activities and their local communities.

Responsibilities

As a Support Worker at Making Space, your role involves providing care and support to service users, promoting their independence and engagement in fun activities such as games, crafts, and dance parties. Additionally, you will champion equal opportunities and diversity, creating an inclusive environment where colleagues and our service users feel valued and respected.

Qualifications

It’s important to note that you do not need prior industry experience or any specific qualifications to be considered for this role. On joining Making Space, you will be supported step by step with on-the-job training as well as the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications if desired and required for your role.
