Job Title: Support Worker
Location: Leeds, LS17
Hours: 4 hours a week plus 2 hours in school holidays
To support an 8-year-old boy with Autism and Fragile X. He is full of vitality, and the person supporting him will need to be very fit. Personal care will be involved in the role. Training will be available via the council at no cost.
- Provide support for a joyful and happy child.
- Engage in activities such as water play and playing with sand.
- Visit the park and assist with swings and playing football.
- Utilize PECs for communication, as he is non-verbal.
- Maintain a watchful eye due to his fast movements.
- DBS check will be completed prior to starting the role.
- Two references will be sought.
- Confidentiality is of utmost importance.
5.6 weeks annual leave pro-rata.
