Job description

AJ Case Management was established to offer bespoke clinical services and support in everyday activities to our clients, enabling them to live a fulfilling and happy life.

We have an amazing opportunity for a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to join our team in Maidenhead and support a young girl living with Cerebral Palsy. Our client is very sociable and enjoys partaking in various activities both at home and in the community. Due to the nature of the client, this position is for female applicants only.

What you'll be working:

  • Full time 36hrs per week
  • Pay rate: £16.00 - £17.00 an hour, weekly pay

What you'll be doing:

  • Assist with play and entertainment, helping to choose activities after school or on weekends, such as sensory activities, reading, and playtime.
  • Provide support with personal cares & mobility.
  • Support her physical wellbeing through activities such as physiotherapy.
  • Administer medication as required.

Full training, handovers, and shadow shifts will be provided to all staff members.

What you'll have:

  • We are looking for someone who is professional, energetic, hardworking, and confident.
  • While previous experience working with physically disabled children or young adults is preferred, training can be provided for the right person.
  • Have a minimum of 6 months experience with young children.
  • Have excellent communication skills and a basic knowledge of the sector.
  • Be able to build a strong rapport with service users who have varying needs and abilities.
  • Have a genuine passion for working in the healthcare sector.
  • Be reliable and adaptable with excellent organizational skills.
  • Be IT literate, including Microsoft Applications.
