Job description

Thera South West has an exciting opportunity available for a Support Worker to join our team based in Bovey Tracey. You will join us on a permanent basis, with full time, part time and relief hours available. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of GBP13 per hour.

Additional Information:

  • Full UK driving Licence is preferred but not essential

About the Support Worker role:

Your role will be to support 4 people with a learning disability to achieve their objectives and deliver complex health support within the community in a 24hr supported living setting.

As a support worker, you will be part of an inclusive team empowered to create innovative ways to support people to achieve their own personal goals, living the life they choose.

Supporting people to access the community for a variety of activities, day to day living and wellbeing.

The right applicant will enjoy swimming, spending time in the garden & sourcing new and exciting activities. You will also play an important role with the families, supporting people to maintain good relationships.

Full training will be provided; induction and shadowing is paid time.

Driving licence essential.

This role is working weekends and awake nights on a rota system.
