Who We Are

United Response is a registered charity, founded in 1973, whose mission is to ensure that individuals with learning disabilities, mental or physical support needs have the opportunity to live their lives to the full. We support around 2000 people in over 300 locations across England and Wale, and employ over 3,600 staff.

Lower Sharpham Barton Farm is one of the ways we aim to give the people we support the opportunity to get outdoors and enjoy different activities such as woodwork, metal work and animal care on a working farm. Through the running of different creative sessions on our 80-acre farm, United Response works to provide the high-quality person-centred approach to social care that we are so passionate about.
