Support Building Manager

Our client is a well-respected and established family property company operating in both the commercial and residential sectors. Their Commercial portfolio is undergoing a refurbishment, making their office spaces places people want to go and work in - so it's an exciting time to join the team that is making this significant change.

They need an experienced Support Building Manager to cover various buildings across their South Manchester portfolio, providing support cover for their full-time Building Manager with some flexibility to cover the wider Manchester area if required. We are looking for someone who is highly customer-focused and will take great pride and ownership of whichever building they manage.

You will have good Building Management experience or Hospitality Management experience. Above all, you will be pro-active - priding yourself on the quality of the service you offer your tenants and the upkeep and enhancement of your buildings.

So Day to Day What will You be doing?

1. Operating the reception area of the building
2. Welcoming visitors and staff to the building
3. Liaising with tenants of the building on a daily basis
4. Booking meeting rooms
5. Checking cleaning standards are being adhered to
6. Checking all toilets and showers on a daily basis
7. Maintaining building check sheets on a daily basis
8. Liaising with the Facilities Manager about small maintenance works, paint touch-up etc.
9. Checking the presentation of the outside of the building
10. Maintaining high levels of customer service for tenants on a daily basis
11. If applicable, operating the building's amenity area including the operation and upkeep of the coffee machines, vending machines, and communal exercise area ensuring they are all operational throughout the day
12. Closing down the building and associated amenity area at the end of the day ensuring the building is ready for trade the next day
13. Liaising with senior management on site

It's Monday to Friday - 8am - 6pm with 1 hour for lunch.
