Tradewind are looking to recruit a long-term Supply teacher from now until the end of the academic year.

About the Role

Are you a passionate and dedicated Teacher who can inspire students to explore the world's diverse beliefs, values, and cultures? We are seeking a committed Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Denbighshire. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to encourage critical thinking and empathy while equipping students with a deeper understanding of global perspectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Plan, prepare, and deliver thought-provoking lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  2. Encourage open-minded discussions and debates that challenge students.
  3. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support to meet individual learning needs.
  4. Foster an inclusive and respectful classroom environment where all students feel safe to express their views.

About You

We are looking for a Supply Teacher with strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching. The ideal candidate will have the ability to engage students from diverse backgrounds and inspire them to explore complex ideas with curiosity and respect.

Requirements
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with specialisation in Religious Education.
  2. Proven experience teaching at secondary school level.
  3. Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs.
  4. A proactive and reflective approach to teaching, with a commitment to student development.
  5. Flexibility and a willingness to be an active part of the school's community. An enhanced DBS and EWC for Wales.
