Job description

Salisbury Supply Teachers/Cover Supervisors Required

Secondary mainstream schools

Pay: £135 - £160 a day (paid to scale for permanent roles)

Day to day/long term supply

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Relevant References

The role is to cover lessons of students within the KS3 and KS4 bracket. Your main responsibility as a Cover Teacher will be to manage the behaviour of the class and deliver the pre-set work.

Applicants must have recent teaching experience in UK schools and be available 2+ days a week for work.

The desired teacher will have:

  • A degree or equivalent
  • Experience of teaching secondary school aged children
  • A passion for the progress of pupils
  • An ability to work as part of a team
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
