Are you an experienced and qualified Teacher looking for a new challenge?

We are currently recruiting for Supply Teachers for both primary and secondary schools in Portsmouth. For this role, you will be required to have QTS (Qualified Teaching Status). We have various roles available for a variety of subjects from day-to-day and short/long term roles.

Job Description

• Planning, marking and assessing lessons
• Prepare and develop lesson plans, curriculums, and teaching materials
• Deliver helpful feedback to students about progress
• Manage classroom behaviour
• Support may involve personal care
• Supporting SEN and SEMH needs
• Engage, motivate, and encourage students to complete work set
• Make sure all students are focused and on track to meet their lesson objectives
• Attending to students' physical, mental, and emotional needs

Requirements

• Previous experience within an educational setting supporting students
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Ability to pass an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check to work with children
• Up-to-date Safeguarding Training (You can undertake a free course with U-educate if you have not got a safeguarding certificate dated within the last 12 months)
