Job description

Are you an experienced teacher looking for flexible work in the Halifax area? We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable supply teacher to join our team. You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of schools in the area, providing excellent education to students at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering engaging and effective lessons in the absence of the regular class teacher
• Managing classroom behavior and creating a positive learning environment
• Assisting with the development and implementation of lesson plans
• Providing feedback to schools on student progress and any issues encountered

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Proven experience in a teaching role, ideally within primary or secondary schools
• Strong classroom management skills
• Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and subject areas
• A passion for teaching and making a positive impact on students' learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
