Are you a qualified and passionate Primary School Teacher looking for your next long-term opportunity in South Wales? Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a Supply Teacher in Bridgend to cover a temporary vacancy in a supportive and well-resourced primary school.

This full-time role is perfect for a charismatic and energetic teacher who enjoys creating engaging learning environments for pupils of mixed abilities.

The Role

As a Classroom Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering the full Primary National Curriculum to a class of up to 30 pupils. The class is supported by two full-time Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) who focus on small group interventions to enhance pupil engagement and learning outcomes.

You will be given weekly PPA time and support from the SLT to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.

  1. Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the full Key Stage 2 curriculum
  2. Provide differentiated lesson plans for individual learning needs
  3. Coordinate with LSAs to ensure tailored support is in place each session
  4. Implement behaviour management strategies aligned with pupil behaviour plans
  5. Monitor progress and provide feedback to support student development
  6. Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Requirements
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK (or equivalent and transferred QTS)
  2. Experience teaching in a primary school setting, ideally Key Stage 2
  3. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply with our support)
  4. EWC registration (support with application available)
  5. A positive, proactive, and flexible approach to teaching
