Swadlincote
£425 – £475 per week depending on qualifications and experience
About the role
Connex Education are working closely with a number of specialist and mainstream schools in the Swadlincote (DE11) area, and we are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to provide flexible, supply-based support throughout the summer term.
These roles are ideal for individuals with a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs. Whether you’re available on a full-time or part-time basis, we want to hear from you.
You may be supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, or SEMH needs. Experience in care or a background in supporting vulnerable individuals is highly desirable, and some roles may involve personal care responsibilities, so confidence and empathy are essential.
Assignment details
These SEN supply roles are available immediately and will run throughout the summer term. Long-term placements may be available for the right candidates.

Person Specification
• A compassionate and patient approach to working with children
• GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above
• Experience in SEN, care, or support settings (personal or professional)
• Comfortable with potential personal care responsibilities (when required)
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
