Job Description

We are currently seeking an interim Supply Planner to work with our global FMCG client, Elida Beauty, renowned for brands such as TIGI, VO5, Toni & Guy, and Brylcreem, and become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment.

The position can be based either in Holborn, London or Liverpool City Centre, depending on your preference. This is a full-time temporary role for 12 months, requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Compensation for this role is competitive, paying up to £46,500 per annum, pro rata, depending upon experience.

The role currently offers a mix of remote and onsite working, subject to adjustment based on business requirements.

We are seeking a Supply Planner with a strong growth mindset and a results-driven approach. This role is critical in ensuring the right balance between brand, consumer, and customer needs while driving profitable growth.

As a Supply Planner, you will play a pivotal role in the Demand Supply Reconciliation (DSR) process, ensuring optimal capacity allocation and stock availability across a global organisation. This role offers opportunities to work on strategic supply chain initiatives and cross-functional projects as Elida Beauty continues to expand.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Execution

  • Execute end-to-end Supply Planning strategy to align with business objectives.
  • Convert constrained Finished Goods (FG) forecasts into actionable supply and capacity plans.
  • Lead Demand Supply Reconciliation (DSR), sourcing, and capacity planning to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Focus on long-term capacity planning, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Drive operational excellence, proactively managing supply risks and challenges.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service through on-time, in-full (OTIF) order fulfilment.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Own and monitor capacity, stock, and waste reporting, driving continuous improvement in service levels.
  • Collaborate with the Planning Control Tower team on planning activities and strategic projects.

Partnership & Collaboration

  • Work closely with Demand Planning, Customer Development (CD), and Marketing to integrate key marketing and trade initiatives into supply plans.
  • Partner with 3rd-party manufacturers (3PM) and procurement to optimize inventory levels while maintaining target stock levels.
  • Contribute to sourcing projects and network optimization.
  • Manage repack and co-pack activities, ensuring seamless execution with key suppliers.

Process & Technology Management

  • Enhance process efficiency and support technology transformation initiatives.
  • Develop new analytics tools and drive automation in supply planning.
  • Own and maintain all relevant master data for supply planning operations.

Talent Development & Leadership

  • Support talent growth and succession planning, ensuring the organization is equipped for long-term success.
  • Represent Elida Beauty Limited internally and externally with key stakeholders and industry bodies.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional global teams with a proactive and results-driven approach.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with SQL, Power BI, or Demantra is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent oral and written communication.
  • Ability to multi-task, meet tight deadlines, and work independently in a dynamic environment.
  • Adaptability in a lean, agile organization, with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management (or a related field), but not essential.
