Are you an enthusiastic English Teacher looking for a temporary opportunity in a supportive school environment? A well-regarded mainstream secondary school in Milton Keynes is seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join their team on a temporary basis.

About the Role:

As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that inspire and challenge students. You will play a key role in supporting students' academic progress, fostering a love for English, and maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Differentiate teaching to cater to students of varying abilities.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain effective classroom management to create a positive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for engaging students in English literature and language.
