The Role - Supply Chain & Purchasing Manager

This is a hands-on, high-impact position, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing efficient supply chain strategies and purchasing processes that can scale with the business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Establish and refine end-to-end supply chain systems and processes
2. Oversee stock control and inventory management across multiple sites
3. Manage supplier relationships and negotiate competitive terms
4. Work closely with operations, finance, and logistics teams to align procurement with business needs
5. Lead demand forecasting and ensure optimum stock levels
6. Analyse data using advanced Excel to drive smarter purchasing decisions
7. Identify cost-saving opportunities and support margin improvement initiatives
8. Support the business through its next phase of expansion and infrastructure development

About You:

1. Proven experience in a similar supply chain or purchasing management role, ideally within foodservice, retail, or wholesale
2. Exceptional Excel skills - pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, forecasting models etc.
3. Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
4. Highly organised, process-driven and detail-oriented
5. Confident working at both strategic and operational levels
6. Proactive, adaptable, and ready to roll your sleeves up
7. Experience in high-growth environments is a strong advantage
