Job description

Our manufacturing client is currently seeking a Supply Chain Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent position with a well-established company, near Southampton.

The ideal candidate will have experience in supply chain management and will be expected to carry out the following duties:

  • Manage the flow of goods, from sourcing to customer delivery
  • Lead supplier negotiations to secure favourable terms
  • Inventory planning and responsible for all material management
  • Identify and implement strategies to streamline the procurement process
  • Ensure all processes meet legal and regulatory standards

This position will require someone with a strong process background and an understanding of lean / efficiencies.
Experience of Transformations / change would also be advantageous in this role and you will be responsible for a small team.

Hours:
37.5hrs per week (Monday - Friday)

Salary:
£40,000p/a - £50,000p/a
