Supply Chain Manager
What will this role achieve?
This is an exciting and impactful role, crucial to delivering value to our Manchester Bakery through the strategic leadership of the Supply Chain function at the site. The Manchester Bakery is going through a period of significant growth, fuelled by exciting investment, so this role will be a key part in driving the success of a busy and exciting Supply Chain program.
The successful candidate will lead a team of Supply Chain professionals covering MRP, ERP, labour planning, and production planning to deliver an end-to-end Supply Chain service at site, handling some of pladis’ most iconic brands in the UK and across the globe. The role also has accountability for our warehousing operation, managing the flow of goods in and out across a 24/7 operation. The Supply Chain Manager role plays a pivotal part in shaping and managing our manufacturing footprint and will be responsible for ensuring that our customer commitments are paramount through delivery of consistent internal and external service KPI’s, whilst ensuring that the financial impact of our Supply Chain operation enables the delivery of our site budget. In addition, this role will play a key part of the Senior Leadership Team at site, responsible for building and delivering the Manchester Strategic Ambition to ensure our factory remains at the forefront of the pladis operation.
