Supply Chain Manager

Location: West Midlands

Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 DOE + Holidays + Bank Holidays + Pension + Company Benefits + Company Events

Working Hours: Monday to Friday

ARE YOU AN EXPERIENCED SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER WITH A BACKGROUND IN THE MANUFACTURING SECTOR?

Supply Chain Manager required for a successful and well-established manufacturer who is currently in a phase of growth. They offer a varied role within a great team environment. You will have autonomy in your role and the scope to shape the success of the business moving forward.

The role would suit supply chain managers, supply chain supervisors, or supply chain coordinators who have experience of taking full control of the end-to-end supply chain within a manufacturing setting. You must be able to demonstrate a strong background in purchasing and procurement as well as a proven track record in fostering strong supplier relationships.

The role will involve overseeing all procurement activities, ensuring cost efficiency and strong supplier relationships. Supplier management will be a big part of your role, working with suppliers in the UK, China, and India to maintain and develop partnerships. You will manage and support one employee, coordinating their workload and fostering their development within their role. You will play an integral role in process development and systems integration, contributing to all continuous improvement and streamlining projects.

Minimum Requirements

  1. Experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management
  2. Knowledge of international sourcing and supply chain networks
  3. Previous experience working in a manufacturing/production environment is ideal
  4. Background in people management
  5. Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
