WHAT TO EXPECT

As a Supply Chain Leader, you will be responsible for the efficient and timely flow of parts from global suppliers to Solihull Operations and its extended warehouse operations, ensuring material delivery is to schedule, on time and in full.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

1. Liaise with suppliers to manage material delivery in line with CMMS schedule (timing & quantity).
2. Maintain integrity of CMMS schedule content against business and supply base needs.
3. Manage inventory levels for the supply chain against agreed budget targets.
4. Timely escalation and co-ordination of emerging supply risks to avoid business impact.
5. Drive suppliers and cross functional support areas to deliver supply solutions and recovery activities during distressed supply situations.
6. Request stock checks to validate all suspected stock inaccuracies. Ensure appropriate inventory adjustments are made to protect accuracy of CMMS schedules.
7. Drive supplier performance through corporate systems (SPEEDY) to penalise vendors failing to meet delivery commitments.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

1. You’ll have demonstrable experience of supply chain management, with the ability to communicate to stakeholders at a senior level.
2. You’ll have strong analytical skills and statistical ability and be able to read and produce complex reports to ensure data can be transferred into timely based information to help make key business decisions.
3. Working experience of CMMS would be a significant advantage.
4. You’ll have experience or knowledge of project management and process improvement.
