Job description

Title: Supply Chain Associate (must have prior Tow Motor experience)

Type: Full-time, temp to hire

Salary: $17.50 / hour

Shift: 1st shift, Monday - Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm (mandatory overtime required)

POSITION SUMMARY: Position will be trained in all aspects of packaging and shipping.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience working in manufacturing, assembly, production, or similar industries is required.
  • Experience working with material supply vendors, shipping and freight carriers, and other service providers is required.
  • Must have prior Tow Motor experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Adheres to safety rules at all times, wearing proper PPE required for task being performed and follows all Company policies.
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work environment at all times.
  • Completes the client’s Forklift Training program and maintains certification. Ability to drive a forklift and use a rolling ladder to store finished goods, as well as being comfortable with heights.
  • Computer proficiency: proficient in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar suite is required; accounting/bookkeeping software, ERP systems, purchasing software.
  • Cross trains in Shipping & Receiving Supply Chain positions and is a flexible team player.
  • Supports Company goals as they pertain to the Supply Chain Department.
  • Ability to work shift schedule, five (5) eight-hour shifts or four (4) ten-hour shifts, with overtime as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

SKILLS: English - fluent

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Basic math

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Standing and walking – 95%. Sitting – 5%.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Bending, kneeling, stooping, twisting, climbing – frequently.
  • Ability to see small print written, stamped, or printed on various materials.
