Supply Chain and Customer Fulfilment Manager
Location: Frimley
Salary: £60,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance
Role: Full-Time/Permanent

Our Client:
Our client is a market leader in garden products, providing top-tier solutions to national retailers, garden centres, and consumers. Operating in a fast-moving, seasonal industry, they pride themselves on delivering exceptional service to their customers. The Supply Chain and Customer Fulfilment teams play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations, collaborating with key internal departments, and enhancing the customer experience.

The Role:
As Supply Chain and Customer Fulfilment Manager, you will lead and mentor the Customer Fulfilment and Supply Chain teams, driving them to exceed business objectives while ensuring KPIs are consistently met. You will be the vital link between external customers, such as national retailers and garden centres, and internal teams like Sales, Distribution & Logistics, Planning, and Finance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, develop, and inspire the Customer Fulfilment and Supply Chain teams to consistently deliver exceptional service, meeting both internal and customer deadlines.
• Oversee and manage B2B customer order processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance with internal controls, and audit requirements.
• Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as daily sales, fill rates, and delivery performance, providing insights and addressing any variances.
• Collaborate with Sales, Logistics, and Demand Planning to resolve supply chain and delivery issues.
• Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, including transitioning manual orders to EDI and increasing auto-delivery rates.
• Manage customer claims, returns, and stock uplifts, ensuring timely resolution in collaboration with Finance.
• Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to align supply chain priorities and service expectations.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and implement best practices across the Customer Service function.

What We’re Looking For:
We seek a confident and influential leader capable of challenging the status quo and driving meaningful change across the business. You will be an excellent communicator, able to assertively engage with both internal and external partners to ensure service excellence.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Proven leadership experience in Supply Chain or Customer Service (minimum of 5 years).
• Strong understanding of SAP sales and order processes.
• Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Proactive, problem-solving approach with a strong "can-do" attitude.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, seasonal business environment.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• Experience with SAP S/4 HANA.
• Background in FMCG or highly seasonal industries.
• Experience working with large retail customers.
