Supplier Quality Technician

Our client is the global leader in their sector! They are looking for a Supplier Quality Technician to join their team.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Work with the site Quality Engineers and lead supplier complaints and investigation, conducting supplier audits of systems and process for compliance and effectiveness.
  • Process and administer supplier returns process for non-conforming incoming parts and ensure systems are updated.
  • Conduct supplier audits (may require travel to supplier sites and potentially overnight stays).
  • Liaise with Purchasing and Factored on supplier issues.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to investigate and prevent reoccurrence of supplier non-conformance.
  • Ensure compliance and assisting with adherence to the Quality Management System.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities and support process improvement activities.
  • Work to reduce supplier PPMs (All product realisation streams).
  • Support cost reduction activities for supplied product.
Ideal Candidate:
  • SAP experience (desirable).
  • Experienced in Manufacturing Quality (desirable).
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Competent in MS Office.
  • Willingness to develop and learn all aspects of the Quality discipline, specialising in Supplier Quality.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data.
Working Hours and Benefits:
  • Monday – Thursday: 08:00am – 16:30pm.
  • Friday: 08:00am – 13:00pm.
  • 25 days annual leave.
