The Role: This role involves planning and executing quality standards across the company supply chain for industrial processes, materials, and products.
Key duties:
Coordinating with purchasing to monitor supplier performance, issuing reports, and managing corrective actions.
Conducting supplier audits to improve standardisation and reduce waste.
Resolving non-conformance issues and ensuring supplier follow-through on corrective actions.
Developing standards for purchased components and identifying process improvements.
Liaising with vendors, engineers, and manufacturing teams to secure essential materials.
Conducting regular quality control audits to ensure supplier compliance with company standards.
Updating the supplier database, including performance evaluations and quality control audits.
Managing logistics, addressing packaging and receiving issues, and supporting inspection of paint coatings.
Candidate Requirements:
A qualification in Quality or Supply Chain Management (or equivalent experience).
A relevant engineering degree.
A Level 2 Paint Inspection certification.
Skills in Lean manufacturing, quality systems, APQP, PPAP, and FMEA.
