Supplier Quality & Development Engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with internal teams to foster collaboration and ensure supplier success.

Maintain an onsite presence at supplier locations to oversee trials, builds, and key processes.

Conduct Supplier & Part Risk Assessments and implement strategic mitigation plans.

Provide regular progress updates on supplier performance, PPAP approvals, and delivery forecasts.

Ensure timely PPAP approvals and manage non-PPAP part concessions to support production.

Lead Quality & Capacity Verification efforts to meet business objectives.

Drive resolution of critical issues, engaging directly with Supplier Senior Management.

Develop and implement supplier improvement strategies for long-term success.

Key Skills & Expertise:

PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) – Ensuring seamless part approvals.

8D Problem-Solving Methodology – Driving root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Supplier Quality Engineering – Enhancing quality and compliance.

Capacity Verification – Ensuring suppliers meet production demands.
