Job Opportunity: Superstructure Project Engineer – UK

We are seeking a Superstructure Project Engineer to join our team in the UK. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 7 years of experience in managing superstructure projects and a strong background in obtaining the necessary permissions and permits to initiate projects, including liaising with UK councils to secure them.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage superstructure projects from planning to completion.
• Obtain required permissions and permits, ensuring compliance with UK regulations.
• Liaise with UK councils and relevant authorities to secure necessary approvals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, clients, and contractors to ensure project success.
• Manage materials procurement from both within and outside the UK.

Requirements:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural, or MEP).
• Professional Experience: 5 to 7 years of experience as a Project Engineer with a focus on superstructure projects, particularly in housing or real estate construction.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of UK regulations and procedures for obtaining project permissions and permits.
• Council Engagement: Proven experience working with UK councils and other regulatory bodies to secure required approvals.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of multi-disciplinary superstructure activities, with the ability to coordinate across civil, mechanical, electrical, and architectural fields.
• Certifications: Project Construction Management certification is mandatory; PMP certification is .
• Procurement Management: Demonstrated ability to manage procurement processes efficiently, both domestically and internationally.
• Collaboration Skills: Proven ability to engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders, clients, and contractors to ensure successful project execution.
