Substance Misuse Recovery Worker

We are currently seeking a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker for our client in Barnet on a 3 month contract to start ASAP.

The rate of pay will be negotiated between £21-22 an hour. This will be a Full Time Contract, Monday to Friday from 09:00-17:00.

As a Recovery Worker, you will be required to:

1. Support service users from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey;
2. Provide screening, assessment, and recovery planning and onward referral;
3. Reduce alcohol-related harm to service users and the wider community;
4. Promote carer, service user, and community involvement;
5. Provide advocacy for access to partnership services;
6. Work with service users to support social (re)integration, enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives: promoting recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination.

An Enhanced Adults and Children's DBS will be required for this position.
