Sub Regional Leader, Online Benefit Operations

The Sub Region Leader - Online Benefits Operations is a role designed to deliver operational excellence and world-class client experience.

This is a hybrid role offering the opportunity to work flexibly from home, the London office, and be in front of clients.

What the day will look like
  • Operational Governance
    • Create a culture of excellence for online benefits delivery.
    • Ensure that online benefits delivery, implementation, and renewals are performed with rigor and discipline.
    • Ensure UK online benefit clients meet client performance targets and service level agreements.
    • Define client collaboration for Onshore/offshore activities.
  • Support the UK Growth Leader/OLB Client Leader to drive Commercial Strategy:
    • Support business development and sales efforts to expand market share.
    • Work with UK Growth Leader to build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and collaborators.
    • Work with OLB Client Leader to create growth through margin improvement.
    • Work with OLB Client Leader to create growth through BPF resilience.
  • Innovation and Product Development:
    • Promote a culture of operational innovation within the team.
    • Collaborate with global teams to develop and implement new technology solutions.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Global Collaboration:
    • Coordinate with counterparts in other countries to ensure consistency and alignment of global initiatives – be a key part of integration with OLB 3x3 strategy.
    • Share best practices and insights to enhance the overall effectiveness of the online benefits platform.
    • Participate in global strategy meetings and contribute to the development of international policies.
    • Work closely with ABS leadership to ensure global best practices are applied at the client level.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with global best practice framework, local regulations, and company policies.
    • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated within the online benefits business.
    • Lead Consumer Duty initiatives within OLB.
    • Monitor and control expenses to ensure cost efficiency.
    • Maintain high standards of data security and privacy.
  • P&L/Finances Oversight:
    • Work with OLB Client Leader to understand ongoing financials.
    • Oversee the financial performance of the online benefits business.
    • Create improved efficiency around implementation and renewal cost leakage.
    • Support CCO and OLB leader to develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • Strong commercial acumen and business development skills.
  • Excellent communication, networking, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to drive innovation and manage change within a complex, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to work successfully as a team in a matrix-based structure.
  • Experience in the human capital technology, benefits, and/or insurance industry is a plus.
