Job Description

Vision Metering, LLC, has been in business for 33 years and has an immediate opening for a New Sub-Metering Sales Manager. The Company sells its products and services to the Electric, Gas, and Water Utilities. We are now expanding our products and services to the Sub-Metering space with our SmartGrid offerings of LoRa communications, Amazon Sidewalk, and 4G LTE/Cat M1 modems. Our Head End Systems are ready for expanded growth. We sell throughout the U.S., Latin America, and Asia. It is an exciting time for our company, and the growth cycle is extraordinary. Our business is growing rapidly, and this is an excellent opportunity for someone motivated to excel and succeed.


The Company is seeking a qualified Sales Manager capable of representing the company with its customers in 17 states. Travel is required 17 weeks per year. The Company pays all reasonable travel expenses, and sales calls will only be made with an appointment. Our preference would be to have a candidate with some electrical background, but a good technical aptitude will be considered. We will provide the training necessary to be successful. Travel every three weeks will be required.


The selected candidate will have an outgoing personality and be easy to talk to, as this is relationship-based selling. It is expected that the selected candidate will learn the products and services offered by Vision and be able to portray this information to the customer. The position is located in York, SC, which is about 45 minutes from downtown Charlotte, and will be required to report to York when not traveling. This is not a remote position.


The position offers a base salary of $70,000, and a 1% commission will be paid on all sales generated in that territory. Commissions are paid quarterly. The Company offers health benefits, a 401K program after 6 months, all normal holidays off, and two weeks vacation after one year of service. Spanish is a plus but not required.
