Sub Agent- Highways

Location: NR13 Norwich

Contract: 12 months plus

Purpose of the role:
As a Sub Agent, you will assist the Site Agent and Project Manager on a highways scheme. We are looking for someone with a strong highways background, mainly in earthworks and drainage.

Job role:

1. Maintain commercial performance of the contract
2. Be responsible for the successful delivery of projects
3. Produce and manage the project programme and supervise its delivery
4. Report to the Project Manager on progress and performance
5. Understand and interpret drawings and specifications
6. Ensure all site team and supply chain are working to the latest design information
7. Ensure Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), Permit to Work systems, site inductions and safety briefings are correctly carried out
8. Understand any temporary works requirements
9. Produce good quality, accurate monthly reports for the Client and internally
10. Participate in creating a knowingly safe working environment
11. Day-to-day management of a section of works including the supervision and monitoring of the site team and supply chain
