Sub Agent - Civil Works - Highways project

A leading civil engineering firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Agent to join our team on a major sewage water treatment plant project. This is a crucial opportunity to contribute to a project that will enhance essential infrastructure and improve the environment.

What You'll Do:

1. Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the civil works package, ensuring adherence to project specifications, deadlines, and safety standards.
2. Coordinate with subcontractors and manage project resources effectively, including plant, machinery, and materials.
3. Monitor construction progress, identify potential issues related to excavation, foundation construction, and other civil works, and implement solutions to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
4. Maintain meticulous records of work progress and any issues that arise, including daily site diaries.
5. Champion safety on the project, promoting a culture of awareness and enforcing the highest safety standards.
6. Contribute to the successful completion of the project, meeting deadlines and achieving the highest quality standards.

What We Need:

1. Proven experience as a Site Agent on civil engineering projects, ideally with experience in Highways on the earthworks package.
2. A strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations relevant to civil engineering, particularly in relation to water treatment facilities.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing a team and collaborating with stakeholders.
4. A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a commitment to achieving project goals on time and within budget.
5. A strong commitment to safety, with a proven ability to implement and uphold the highest safety standards.

Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
