Your new company:

National Civil Engineering contractor who, due to the award of a prestigious new contract, have a requirement for an additional Sub Agent to join their team on a permanent basis.

This 4-year project is close to Inverness and, while in the Power sector, Sub Agents from any Civil Engineering/Groundworks discipline are encouraged to apply.

Experienced Sub Agents and Senior Site Engineers are also encouraged to apply.

Duties will include:

1. Manage the daily operations on site and ensure project timescales are met within a safe and accurate fashion.
2. Reporting weekly to the Project Manager on key aspects of progress issues and concerns.
3. Contribute and help to ensure that success throughout all projects is achieved by delivering the programme on time.
4. Support engineers on site.
5. Any other site management duties as required.

What you'll need to succeed:

1. Previous experience in a similar capacity for another Civil Engineering contractor.
2. Able to communicate with staff at all levels.
3. Able to build and maintain strong working relationships.
4. Willing to mentor and develop site staff.
5. CSCS card.
6. SMSTS.
7. Good knowledge of Health and Safety in construction.
8. Degree/HND in Civil Engineering is preferred.
9. Understanding of NEC form of Contract.
