Study Skills Tutor (AS)
First Class Support provides academic support to students in receipt of disabled student allowance (DSA). We pride ourselves on only employing first class support specialists that are passionate about making a difference to the lives of people studying higher education courses across the UK.
We are currently looking for study skills tutors to help support autistic students with their studies at university to ensure they get the most out of their work and overall university experience.
Students receiving your support will either be on the autistic spectrum, have ADD or have ADHD. In these instances, you will need to demonstrate specific experience of working with students with these conditions.
Your Role:
Tutors work with students on a one-to-one basis both remotely and face to face, to address the issues which some students might have in acquiring, recalling and retaining information in written and spoken language as well as the range of other difficulties that students with specific learning difficulties often face when working in an HE context.
