As the Student Recruitment Manager, you will help us to achieve and deliver our recruitment strategy by managing all student recruitment activities in the Greater London region, delivering events to recruit Undergraduate and Postgraduate students to our London campuses, as well as the wider set of ULaw campuses.

You will develop and maintain extensive relationships with key stakeholders at schools, colleges and universities in the wider region, leveraging those relationships to book activities within those institutions as well as encouraging students to visit our campuses for events.

Alongside your direct report, you will plan, organise and deliver these events across the region, travelling to the necessary locations to do so, and work towards targets for these external events.

You will be able to have persuasive but supportive conversations with prospective students, being a strong self-starter and a personable and excellent communicator.

As our Student Recruitment Manager, you will:

  • Develop, own and deliver your Regional Student Recruitment plan, running strategic events at local schools, colleges, universities and on our campuses.
  • Provide line management for the Student Recruitment Officers at London Bloomsbury and London Moorgate.
  • Drive intelligence gathering for your region, developing an awareness of the competitor market for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses.
  • Engage with institutions and develop excellent working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Support with the running of our Student Ambassador and Campus Representative programme for your region.
We are looking for people who are/have:
  • Student Recruitment experience in a University/Higher Education setting (essential).
  • Experience of managing client/stakeholder relationships.
  • Confident in delivering presentations and workshops to students across schools, colleges and universities.
  • Can work as part of a small team, working to targets and using data to monitor their region.
  • Flexible, reliable and hard working.
Benefits
On top of a competitive salary £45,000, we provide a generous annual leave entitlement of 30 days (+stats), and there’s a rewards package that includes:
  • Private Medical Scheme and Life Assurance.
  • Contributory Pension Scheme.
  • Training and Qualifications (including Course Sponsorship/Fee Discount).
  • Season Ticket Loans and Student Discounts.
