Position
An opportunity has arisen for a Student Health Visitor at Stevenston Health Centre.
What you will do:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit one highly motivated registered nurse/midwife to undertake postgraduate studies in Specialist Community Public Health Nursing(SCPHN) (Health Visiting). You require to be registered on part 1 or 2 of the NMC register and possess a first degree as part of the admission criteria for the programme of learning. Practical assessment and academic learning are carried out by both University staff and the Health and Social Care Partnership staff.
You will be supported to attend a SCPHN Health Visiting course on a full time one year basis which commences September 2025. Annex 21 conditions will apply.
During this period, you will be employed as Health Visitor Students; it is important to note that as a full time student, attendance at university and all holidays will be set by the University. Practice placements will be arranged in various locations across North Ayrshire Children & Families Health Service, supported by Practice Assessors and Supervisors.

UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership:
